In her capstone project, Emily constructed a website for the wiPolo Martyrs Shrine in northern Uganda, a region historically torn apart by war. Drawing on her experiences and connections made during her participation in the International Summer Service Learning Program, she found an opportunity to contribute to the socioeconomic development of that region by creating a resource to promote this unique pilgrimage site, which draws together northern Uganda as it continues to recover from war. Her project brings together technology and Christianity under CST principles, filling a need that she recognized during her time in Uganda.
