Join for dialogue and discussion featuring Nelson Lichtenstein, Professor of History at the University of California at Santa Barbara and author of The Retail Revolution: How Wal-Mart Created a Brave New World of Business and Dan Schlademan, labor activist and Campaign Director of Making a Change at Wal-Mart. Professor Lichtenstein will explain how Walmart has tranformed the retail industry and Dan Schlademan will illustrate how these changes have affected strategies for organizing Walmart workers.
