-

Location: Geddes Hall |Coffee House

Emmanuel Katongole, Associate Professor of Theology and Peace Studies

Andrea Smith-Shappell, Associate Director, Theological Reflection and Summer Service Learning

Drawing from the experience (through pictures and stories) from the summer 2016 Pilgrimage of pain and hope to Uganda and Rwanda, the seminar will highlight the unique pedagogy of "pilgrimage" and its goals in advancing knowledge of Africa.

The Center for Social Concerns organized a series of research seminars at which colleagues with relevant research will share their research and thinking in an informal atmosphere. They will run for an hour (20-30 minute presentation to be followed by discussion). Coffee will be provided.
