Senior Capstone Projects

The CST Minor Capstone is the culmination of the CST Minor and a synthesis of students' understanding of Catholic Social Tradition. It asks students to creatively integrate what they have learned in both their major and minor fields of study throughout their time at Notre Dame. Students are expected to write a paper, do a project, or develop a creative work that would be recognized within their major discipline of study while using the framework of CST. One of the CST Minor Directors acts as a mentor to assist students in the progress of this self-directed capstone. Each student also has a professor in their major who acts as a resource in their discipline. At the end of the semester, students present their projects to the CST Minor Directors and fellow seniors at the last class.
